Volunteer

By joining Coastal Wildlife Club you can sign up to volunteer in various capacities:

1. Sea Turtle Patrol - walk a segment of beach to find, label, protect, and document sea turtle nests.

                 

2. Teacher Program - assist with the program to equip teachers to teach the next generation about sea turtles.

3. Exhibits and Festivals - Coastal Wildlife Club attends several exhibits and festivals throughout the year to educate the public about turtles and tortoises. Volunteers are needed to set-up and staff the booths.

4. Publicity - volunteers are needed to write articles and interact with the media.

5. Stake Painting &/or Cage Making - volunteers are needed to help paint the stakes used to mark nests and to build predator prevention cages.

       

6. Coordinate the pizza parties.
